Re: WATRs Player of the 2015/16 Season - HAL Semi Final

Bruce, McGowan and LaRocca. Bruce had a night out. The other two kept the best attacking force in the League (apparently!!!) to scrap[s all night. Marrone had a blinder too. Who didn't?

Re: If Amor goes...

If witnessing an absolute football miracle after experiencing the pain of an absolute football debacle means that I was wrong I'm very happy to be wrong. Eight games in we were crap. End of season we're Premiers. I didn't see that at all. Fire up the hotplates, crack the eggs, make the omelettes. I ...

Re: Who should be the first Red to get a statue in their hon

Is this a joke? Cassio not in the list? How quickly we forget.

But Flakes over Rivaldo would be wonderful! :) Mind you, so would Cassio outjumping every 6'6" striker he ever played against.

Re: Preview: Nix v AU

Yeah, the Rock in for Mells (who looked utterly lost on Saturday - but he was replacing our most consistent and experienced niggler). Goodwin for Cirio. Cirio seems out of sorts and 30 mins might suit him better than 90 at present. His team-mates seemed to forget he was there on Saturday.

Re: Melbourne Victory v Adelaide United Match Day Jamboree!!

Come on guys, Victory have a busy schedule...... Quite what he was doing sliding in that late when the player has had time to fall to ground is interesting. He must have simply lined up and let go. Lucky he only hit Goody in the head. If he'd been on his feet he would have had an ankle or leg broken...

Re: Marcuccitti Article

I agree. The game the other night was full of the type of tension and drama that only the ACL can bring. And of course the chance to see our lads match it with players who really are elite. It was gutting to lose when we had chances to win it but for me it was not devastating about 15 mins later. Th...

Re: Preview: CCM v AU Sun 14th

He had a reputation of being a thug before he came here. I was surprised by what he has produced since coming back from injury but he's let us down with this. Deserved but needless 3 week suspension. At least boogs' reds occasionally had a purpose! Leave this sort of thuggery to Victory not at my c...

Re: Adelaide United v Sydney FC Match Day Jamboree!!!©

It was an uncomfortable experience to watch that from the stands but it has to be said that a point is a decent result considering the circumstances. Jeggo is a massive loss and it's clear that the young lads will take a while to get to grips with their role. Mind you, Jeggo always had Cello alongsi...

Other clubs manage to sign strikers. Some even have spare ones on the bench. Don't strikers like Adelaide?

Re: #valsaid

I wouldn't normally comment on Val (I can get a little too passionate) but it is good to see SBS and David Villa give Gumby the chance to politely destroy the vitriolic, personal and unprofessional crap we have to put up with from a man who simply can't cope with the fact that the city team (as in t...

Re: If Henrique was spanish?

Guys, he's a forward from Brazil and he knows what our refs are like. He's hardly the only one. One might suggest Bruce also went for a dive after Bowles tugged him back. He could have gone to ground earlier but tried to get into the box for the foul. Isaias had both legs planted and the 'fish' turn...
