On the one hand I agree on Irankunda's fitness. Commentators obsess over his defensive efforts, but didn't seem to notice he was too drained to join in ~40% of attacks. But also he doesn't have to get through 90, only 45-60 to be worthwhile. Plus I think he'd benefit from 10 other first-choice(ish) ...

I don't think Clough was abysmal. But thats exactly the sort of game you expect a player like that to excel in, and he was pretty much stifled with very little effort from the opposition.
