Re: Australia's World Cup 2022 Bid

Say i go over for the WC in 2022 (by the end of this posts, i doubt many will be wanting to). 1. 50 Degree heat, and over half the population are required by law to be dressed from head to toe. Will there be "Westernised" zones, will these include the beaches? Does your country even have beaches At ...

Re: Australia's World Cup 2022 Bid

I liked the presentation.

Animated Kangaroo for the win.

Its just what all the non-aussies love. That and the seriousness of all the other bids - if we make it past the Japs and Koreans - We've got this.

Re: Away Travel vs. Melbourne Victory

I've only had "expressions of interest" - but those people i know will go. You'd be the first ones to book, mainly because I'm sorting out how they can pay in installments.

If you're worried about the bus being cancelled, dont be - I'll send it over if its not full.

Re: Away Travel vs. Melbourne Victory

Brades, instead of taking the car over you could take our bus. Its only a mini bus, so it would be just like a car trip - only you dont have to worry about driving - you can sit back and enjoy yourself. And yeah Daniel, organising a new pub. Y&J was terrible. Probably going to have to go somewhere i...

Re: Foxtel powers national Champions League competition!

Really? I think the opposite.

I reckon it will be a roaring success.
Spot On.

I'm an eagles fan but i dont get to many games because i have a tonne of things on Saturdays, including work.

Playing a big team from interstate would be worth ensuring i get the day off.

Re: "Key Reds playmaker Flores in demand" - Will he leave?

Build a team around him. The club and league as a whole can ill afford to lose such a quality player. He will be gone in 2 years. Wont leave in January, but he has ambitions just like everyone else. No South American child has dreams of playing 10 years in Australia. He's a lot more giften than Cas...

Re: "Key Reds playmaker Flores in demand" - Will he leave?

Anyone that thinks he will leave before the season ends obviously has never talked to him or understands him.

Committed to the club, committed to the fans.

Re: where? we having our bid for 2022 together party

The Rosemont will be open, its open 24/7. The Green and Gold Army actually sell the rights to be called a live site, and no-one in Adelaide is willing to put up the money for it. After some Hard ball from the pubs in Adelaide, they will name the Rosemont on Wednesday or Thursday. Either way, I'll be...
