Re: Fan Frustration: Time for Communication, Clarity, Compro
There are certainly a few Weslo staff that are respected and show respect for the Red Army, and this is something that has prospered over time. In saying that, there was a Weslo gentleman lasy week at the Nix game that used his "shut it or I'll remove you from the stadium" jibe to one of our regula...

Re: So the 2011/2012 squad so far
Hasnt been announced. Where did you hear that the limit is 4 Foreigners?Pretty sure Slory has a 2 year deal from this season's end.
Which means to sign Bodrusic they'd have to cut one import if Cassio gets citizenship. (4 is the limit next year)

Re: So the 2011/2012 squad so far
So far: our best XI for 2011/12 - confirmed signings. Could easily bench Flakes, send Mullen central and get Watto to play RB. Has been a star, should get the last rising star nomination. But thats another story. Imports are in Bold. ----------------- Eugene ---------------- Mullen -- Cornthwaite - ...

Re: Anymore signings?
Lucas Neill is not as ridiculous as you may think.
Throw him Marquee status, pay him $1m per season. Would cement our weakest position on the field (CB) whilst showing Watson how to play RB properly.
Gerard and co. play their cards right and splash thje cash he could get here.

Re: Adelaide United Supporter Groups
I was also at the meeting, dropped out of this thread and didnt realise you were talking about what was going on in this thread. He also mentioned that he is unhappy with the AU website and E-News. Expect a new website next year, and I'd say with a similar lay out to the NAFC (Roosters) one. He want...

Re: Big Bash GF clash with Welly game
Why have a final on a set night when you dont know what city it will be in? Leave it as a flexible fixture. No danger in organisation because you dont know where you have to be and if certain people will be required there. If the backwards idjits at AFL HQ can start to embrace a non-finalised fixtur...

Re: Big Bash GF clash with Welly game
Its not really a question as to which event you will go to - but its more of a "why?" to the head honchos. Why struggle against each other here. Its a dead set win for the Reds on this point, but if it was played on any other night i would be at AO. This really annoys me because of the timing of las...

Re: The Rumble Gets Louder
One of the players mentioned in the article was reported to have rejected his contract. I've heard from a VERY good source that the article appeared before the contract was tabled.
Makes it harder to believe the media when that sort of shit occurs.

Re: Crowds stay up atmosphere down
Welcome Interloper - you''ve pretty much hit the nail on the head, bar one thing.
Flare rippers are not supporters. The club gets heavily penalised when they act like this and they are more focussed on being "fully sick" in front of their friends.
Once again, they aren't supporters - they're flogs.
