Re: Who's signed for next season

Verona want Toni to extend his contract. So much for that.

Shame.

Hopefully they'll be willing to let Saviola go.
Yep, just came here to post about it.

Verona's president said his renewal is a formality. Damn!

Re: Who's signed for next season

So looking around the internet for Toni information i notice his teammate is also out of contract next month, 120 odd games for Barca and 40 for Argentina amongst others. Hellas Verona have a option of another year extension but he hasn't set the world on fire for them and they may be happy to let ...

Re: SydneyFC v Adelaide United Match Day Jamboree!!!© SEMI F

Didn't see the whole game, but from what i saw we played ok. That Cirio miss in the first half (when we were 1-0 down) really hurt. Had a few good chances too to make it 3-2 with still time left, but in typical United fashion we couldn't put them away and then Sydney go forward and score another. St...

Didn't think we were ever going to get past Young in that second half!! Few nervy moments, but a deserved win. What a weapon Mabil is off the bench.

Re: Adelaide United v Brisbane Roar Match Day Jamboree!!!© F

So I'll be watching this game on SBS HD with 30 minute delay because I'm not at home to watch live on Foxtel. I'd watch on Foxtel GO, but would prefer to wait 30 minutes and see a good quality picture. I could be wrong, but the coverage starts at 7.30, so I presume there will be a 30 min preview in...

Re: Preview - Elim Final: AUFC v Roar

15k? Yeah that is complete rubbish. My neighbour works for the FFA and Adelaide United, and i can tell you as of 3pm Tuesday, that's the last time i spoke to him, only just over 3k tickets were sold. They are anticipating a lot of walk-ups though.

Re: Preview - Elim Final: AUFC v Roar

Well the one positive of this being at Adel Oval is that Brisbane have a great record at Hindmarsh, not Adel Oval! I don't know EdDog, that's debatable imo, i think it's 50-50. Sure Brisbane will likely be tougher to beat than City, but i have zero confidence every time we play MV away. We play well...

Re: Preview: Reds v City 25-4-15

Best outcome is we win and regain some good form, then Wellington at least draw with Sydney so we finish 4th.

Better to play City first week of finals ... i want no part of Brisbane given their record at Hindmarsh!

Re: Perth and the salary cap

Kinda annoying that this announcement was made on the day of a match, Perth were always going to lose after this news. Pretty much gifted the 3 points to Sydney FC. Couldn't have they just waited until the weekend or on monday?

Nevertheless, got what they deserved.
