No doubt Big Sam had been highly effective and successful with Bolton, but his teams are generally unwatchable.
I tend to agree, Bolton are far more enjoyable to watch now than under Big Sam.

It's interesting, especially to be given such a long contract, when Japanese players have a record of failing in Spain (including those considered top players, like Shunsuke Nakamura). The jury in Japan is still out on this one. That's my feeling as well. The Japanese seem to thrive in the Bundesli...

Ienaga is off to Mallorca. It will be interesting to see how he fits in and if he can make it into the starting line-up. Still, a big loss for Cerezo but yet another big gain for Samurai Blue

Malaysia have knocked off Vietnam, winning the 1st leg 2-0 and then obtaining a 0-0 draw in front of 40,000 Vietnamese fans at My Dinh Stadium. bugger, left the door open and the wind set off the alarm, had to get the scissors out and disconnect the siren... that thing is loud You have to admire this man, breaks into a house, snips off the alarm, watches the football until the final whistle and then, only then, makes off with the jewels. :D

I agree that it is nice to have the three points however it was a rather pedestrian game. We should have buried a number of chances however there weren't the numbers in the box.
