2018 Tour de France - doping at its most blatant

Tonight the final procession stage of the Tour de France with be completed and Gerriant Thomas will be crowned Tour de France champion, or as it should be stated, the king of the dopers. Sadly see a rider transformed late in career into a rider capable of winning the Tour de France has no other expl...

Re: 18/19 kits

All this fuss about what the players wear, it is nothing compared to what they do. 8 posts? 🤔 Beautiful shirt bpowell454, now we're talking. Don't even need the blue. Just add black to the shirt or red/yellow shirt, black shorts. Top kit. I was not referring to only what was happening in this thread.

Re: FFA Cup 2018

So yeah, just put on a kit and play, there is no need to make a huge fuss about it.

Re: FFA Cup 2018

And the FFA could not even get their stupid pointless nit picking right. They originally approved the kit and then realised their incompetence and went back on their decision. I don't see why their needs to be a symbol of Italy on the shirt, KEEP IT SIMPLE, but seeing they wanted it there then the F...

Re: FFA Cup 2018

The FFA need to worry about things that matter like getting expansion of the A-league right, introducing a national 2nd division, having a proper youth league, organising friendlies for the Socceroos, instead they fritter away their time on making a big issue out of nothing. If a club wants to Itali...

Re: FFA Cup 2018

There is far too much fuss about what is on a kit or not on a kit. In this case why does it matter whether there is a small area containing three colours. FFA should have just let them wear it, forcing the cover up is just a joke.

Re: 18/19 kits

Pretty boring IMO. But I'm fine with the club not placing a massive amount of resources into the FFA Cup kit.
It's red so there will always be love there from me!
Yeah, as long as the kit is red that is all that matters. All the other stuff is just nonsense.

Re: A league transfer rumours and discussion, NON AU

Rumours of Aiden O'Neill to CCM on loan from Burnley. Interesting move, CCM are lacking in the midfield so I would expect he would get quite a bit of game time.

Re: A league transfer rumours and discussion, NON AU

CCM loan out Daniel Da Silva to Sydney FC. This is the first ever loan between HAL clubs and is currently only available for U23 players. The rule was announced yesterday, a step in the right direction IMO. Although my tin foil hat is telling me that this rule has only come in because Sydney FC nee...

Re: Who's signed for next season

Really excited to see the club sign up D'Arrigo. Letting a 16yo NYL player of the season slip thru their fingers would have been very frustrating to hear. Strangely he won that award on the national stage but didn't win the AU youth player of the season. I presume that award takes into account NPL ...

Re: A league transfer rumours and discussion, NON AU

Williams has done reasonable well in Hungary, 20 goals in 66 matches. Nicholls is a very good A-league player but his personal baggage could be a problem. A front three of Krishna, Burns and Williams with Nicholls in behind them could be quite good. Durante and Taylor could be a good CB partnership,...
