we have been playing this way since halfway thru gombau's first season. we tried "tika taka" the players couldn't handle it and now this is our gameplan

Forwards that we try to sign would look at our style of play with 4 players on one sideline and no help in the box and say no thanks.

We play it too safe, always looking down the wings or the long diagonal ball from the back basically trying to go around teams. I thought we got these Spanish guys so we can play thru teams

Carrusca needs to stay in the number 10 position behind Bruce instead of trying to play the fullback and wing positions all the time.

Mells was shite last night but he is still very young and his form has generally been on a upward trend. Mauk has made a solid start to his AUFC career. Also I think Jeggo is massively overrated on here.

Playing some nice football but i still feel we play too wide. We would be more effective stringing together these passes in front of Bruce rather than wide areas 95% of the time

I think most of our problem is distribution from isais and carrusca this season. both are amazing players but just are not as efficient as last season. Isa's long passing has been shite this season, I think about 50% of his passes are long balls as well, he would be better off cutting the long ball...

He should be positioned more central along with Jeggo and leave the wings for Cirio and Elrich on one side and Goodwin and Marrone on the other. We dont have to attack down a wing with 4 players everytime we go forward just to have a 1v7 or 2v6 in the box.

Melb City play the ball from central areas into Fornaroli's feet which is also the service Djite would like. Fornaroli may struggle here as well with all our players hugging the sideline while he would be outnumbered 5 or 6 to 1 in the box as happens to our strikers at the moment.
