Re: A league transfer rumours, NON AU

I don't think it'd happen, I feel like he'd be wanting to continue 'playing at the highest-possible level' for at least another season. It's not like it's been a bad one for him. (And it's not like Vite would play him appropriately.)

Re: Asian Olympic Qualifiers

Oh baby! I just realised I'll be in London during the olympics! I'm going to every Olyroo game!!! They better qualify! Lucky! I'll probably be in a North Korean prison. I have to be honest, I'm still pretty surprised that Turkmenistan did the job over Indonesia. Doesn't say much for at least the ne...

Re: sokkah tips

Your overall talent and performance is defined by one thing: The goal celebration. Perfect it.

Also, hit it with the laces. Always. Even if it's head height.

Re: J-League 2011

Lineups have been announced; Spira is playing in Urawa's unchanged lineup.

Only difference from last week is that Suzuki replaces Aoyama on the bench, which is relatively insignificant (but awesome).

Re: 2011 FIFA U-20 World Cup

We can theoretically come third and still progress, if we do well enough. (Each third-placed team gets their results compared and the top four of those progress.) It's definitely doable, so long as we can ensure a respectable result against Spain. Costa Rica and Ecuador are also concerns, since they...

Should've scored against Brisbane last season. That deserved to go in purely on merit.

Re: J-League 2011

No changes, Sendai are playing against Urawa in just over three hours at Yurtec stadium.

Looks like they got it all patched up in time. Well done to them.
(Now to rob them of three points.)

Re: Cheung Sai-ho jumps to death

Actually, I had at least some knowledge of the Maldives beforehand. I would check for new articles on maldivesoccer.com every couple of weeks or so, last year. That was part of the reason I went out to find a way to go there and coach. And DV, you do tend to jump at any possible chance to discuss Ho...

Re: J-League 2011

Yeah, he was and he played well. I fully expect the same to happen next week, save for any incidents.

Hopefully he and Nagata can strike up a good understanding between one another, because I feel they could strike up a very good partnership.

Re: Asian Coaching Circus

If you're to believe any of the previous talk (partly from myself a few months ago, I must admit), AIFF has been looking to send Bob packing for some time now. Expect the cliches to come out. "We feel we've come as far as we can with Mr. Houghton." You're right, though. It's hard to think of others ...
