Re: FFA Cup Final AU - Perth 16th Dec
Anyone know who gets the gate takings for this one? Is it like the gf where the FFA gets it, or does it go to the club.

Re: Gombau till 2017-
Life after 2017 is going to be tough. I really hope the whole plan is for this not to happen. When Gombau moves on, his successor has to be implementing the same system, with only minor tweaks. His vision must be the same as Gombau, after all it is now the clubs vision is it not? I think the plan i...

So foo fighters playing at coopers on March the 4th.
I guess we all knew that eventually AEC was going to schedule a concert on our turf, still does not ease the pain.
I do like foo fighters though...

Re: Hindmarsh Stadium
So are AU the only club with their name on their home stadium? I had a friend ask me the same question, and I'm pretty certain we are. He said the club initials written in the seats makes it look very European and then asked if we are the only A-League side to have it. I remember Perth used to have...

Re: FFA Cup: Round of 32 - Wellington Phoenix v Adelaide Uni
There is some weird rule that nix have to play their home FFA cup games in OZ.
I assume then that this will be at Hindmarsh, I hope there will be seats in by then.

nice.
and we got them at home twice this year, second and Hindmarsh!
Our away game against them is at AAMI, so no Etihad this year!

If not then it's a good excuse for travelling to an away gameChances of City playing us at Hindmarsh before round 10? I think we all know the answer to that

I heard they had to walk from the hotel? Either way a total balls-up, maybe we should give them the same "hospitality" when they visit here.
On Gombau, total class! I real consummate professional. A lot of coaches (of all codes) would do well to take a leaf out of his book.

Re: Red Alliance - WATR Meet-up for 1/12/12
What would a pub like the Joiners cost? Considering the club is already running at a loss, do you think buying a pub is an option for them? And I don't think AU have the expertise to operate it. Right now I think partnerships are the only option for AU. Would be nice if they could work something ou...

Both the joiners and the Lady Daly are up for sale at the moment, both are only leasehold, but still it would be great if the club bought one of them.
