Re: Predictions for 24/25

As I think somebody else mentioned on the other thread - the possibility of Stamatelopoulos coming back would not surprise me. The Jets have been in chaos ownership-wise all season and players would have been looking for an exit strategy. Maybe the kid is homesick. That might be why the club have be...

Re: Predictions for 24/25

Predictions for 24/25 ? Are you serious ???

You would be hard pressed to predict what this team is going to do from week to week, never mind 6 months in advance with an off season in between :D

67% possession and 10 shots to 4 but 0-1 down.
It's a cruel game :(

Re: CC Mariners v Adelaide United Match Day Jamboree!!!©

I was going to be at this game if it was played when it was supposed to be. I felt disappointed and relieved all at once when it was postponed.

Hopefully we can make them earn that plate.

Re: Who's signed for next season

Does anyone have a list of who's off contract at the end of the season ? Plus how many more years we have to put up with the rest of them  Contract expiring in 2024: Lopez, VDS, Ansell, Warland, Barr, Isaias, Ayoubi, Halloran, Hiroshi Contract expiring in 2025: Cox, Kitto, Cavallo, Barnett, T...

Re: Who's signed for next season

The solution for me is to take a break from a-league in general for a while. For a passionate fan like me, it’s pretty sad but I have had little enjoyment from my club this season. I have no solution to the never ending false dawns in Australian football and none for AU. No issue with selling a few...

Re: Who's signed for next season

Toure also off to Ligue 1 according to the news this week. Good to see AU is now like a clearance store where everything is for sale. Looks like a full rebuild is coming with a few older blokes surely to retire. Perhaps PSV are loaning us 10 players as I have no expectations on the clubs ability to...

The Reds Forges Strategic Partnership with Dutch Powerhouse PSV

https://adelaideunited.com.au/news/the-reds-forges-strategic-partnership-with-dutch-powerhouse-psv/ "Adelaide United is embarking on an ambitious journey, solidifying ties with Dutch football giants PSV Eindhoven." Don't mind this. Much more palatable than being swallowed up by some major club coll...

Re: Adelaide United v Macarthur FC Match Day Jamboree!!!©

I hate losing these big games to the new teams with zero history and tradition. They had 2 fans ffs! Those 2 fans would have had a great evening. What a finish to the game They had more than 2 supporters there. When they scored each of their two goals a section of the crowd on the western side (sou...

Re: Adelaide United v Macarthur FC Match Day Jamboree!!!©

As previously stated, the game was like a microcosm of our season. Early promise to raise our hopes, followed by abject failure and disappointment. I hate losing these big games to the new teams with zero history and tradition. They had 2 fans ffs! It reminded me of the night under Coolen's final da...

Re: Nestory Irankunda

So apparently our lovely rivals have been spitting the dummy about Nestor not joining up with the Olyroos and saying he should be stood down for the remaining matches. What a bunch of pricks, seriously. If it was an official, first up inclusion in the squad I would say they MIGHT have a point. But t...

Re: Adelaide United v Macarthur FC Match Day Jamboree!!!©

I feel like a big crowd is likely -- whole bunch of people I know that only rarely come to matches are going to be there. Last home game of the season, recent good form, something to play for, farewell to Nestory, maybe(?) a swansong for an elder statesman ... ingredients are there for one of those...
