Confirmed on this morning's radio program Coast FM that Jordan Pudler is indeed off to Perth Glory.

Re: Malik to city, williams to aufc
Well for what it's worth this club is making too many stupid decisions for mine. Jordon Pudler to Perth, Dylan Smith a regular scorer in the NYL team, constantly overlooked for a striker that hasn't scored for 19 games, and getting rid of one of our most consistently good players for a bloke that's ...

Re: Marcelo Carrusca
I reckon the first goal. Chelo played the ball past the defender for Goodwin to run along the goal line and fire a shot that Muscat put in the netNot sure which one, just going by what my app says. Did he pass to goodwin for his goal?

Re: Marcelo Carrusca
He's always reminded me of a poor man's Riquelme. He lopes around and effortlessly gets past opposition players with flicks. However, when he has a bad day at the office, nothing seems to come off, but it is the very sight of him doing these little flicks that enhances them when they don't come off....

Re: Preview: Newcastle Jets v Adelaide United
Yeah hasn't LaRocca been an astute purchase?
La rocca 1 week... for the 3rd week in a row...
I see this often with injury calculationss, E.g. Balbalj's 6 week injury should have finished weeks ago, and injury replacements do not exist for this club management.

Re: Is Bruce Djite in trouble?
Had a laugh @ Bruce v Boogard in a sprinting contest. Bruce couldn't even outrun probably the slowest defender in the league. To try and get psat him he veered 10 metres to the left of goal tyhen with the touch of an elephant booted the ball out for a goal kick. Personally, I reckon he'd struggle in...

Re: If Amor goes...
I think Eugene will make a HUGE difference. Not as a keeper, because John Hall is a good keeper, but Eugene is captain and he's not afraid to organize the defence to suit. Carrusca is not a demonstrative orderer, so a captain he's not. Bruce came in for a one off, so nothing happened there. Eugene, ...

Re: New CEO
While it is Mayer's first role in football, he is clearly excited to begin after saying there here is "no reason" why the Reds can't be as big as the Adelaide Crows or Port Adelaide, two of the biggest clubs in the AFL in terms of memberships. "In this town in particular, we're competing against tw...

Re: Amor
I feel Amor can use is experience as a player to help our squad. He doesnt need to come here and change our tactics or bring better players. There is no overhaul needed, Gombau has already gifted it to us. He really only needs fine tune our match tactics and get the best out of the players here. Hi...

Re: Who we will miss most from last season's departures ?
I agree Boogs is a big out. But we really have seen very little of La Rocca. Considering the bloke won best on ground in the HAL GF not long ago, the guy can obviously step up in the big matches. IMO I think he could be an excellent replacement for Boogs. My (and I feel others) issue is that with e...

Re: Football: Australia's favourite sport
There's definitely an inferiority complex about professional football in Australia. Having old pros like Schwarzer (who hasn't played in Aus for 20 years) being dismissive about it certainly doesn't help. Neither does young players doing everything they can to piss off immediately to some foreign l...

Re: AUFC vs Victory Adelaide Oval R1
Yeah I don't get it. At uni they can take your photo and hand you a uni card in minutes. Why can't they do something similar? I suppose to save money they get the printer to do them all at once, and the club probably waits to the last second to make sure they have the maximum number of members. I'v...

Re: Ante Kovacevic named as new GM
He was captain, if I remember correctly, played for a couple of years then moved to Perth when city left the NSL and the A-League was formed. After his playing career finished he must have had some on-ground role. I remember seeing him @ Hindmarsh when Glory were in town. He obviously knows the game...

Re: Dylan McGowan
I think that last Wed was the best I've seen him play and I put it down to the competition for that back four. As far as I'm concerned Malik and Elrich are 2 of the first on the team sheet every game. Goodwin wouldn't be too far behind, although he's really a mid Then there's LaRocca and Elsey. LaRo...
