Re: Basic Football
is what should have happened by Rini following that display. Always cover your posts - remember the bloody ACL? All of last season for that matter? Bloody annoys me.

Re: Osama Malik back to the Reds?
Pants is better than Ramsay due to old age and experience triumphing over youth and enthusiasm. However, Pants will go down hill whislt Ramsay will improve. Expect that next season will see Pants as the squadie and Ramsay and Malik battling for the first team spot. Then Pants will finish up with AUF...

Re: Ideas to boost A-League interest?
The number 1 thing is to advertise it. They have no market penetration because they have no market awareness.

Re: Osama Malik back to the Reds?
Pants to retire? :P i have been incredibly harsh on Pants for years now, but i must acknowledge his service to the club and he's had a great year this season. personally, i still think Pants is pivital on the left as Ramsay doesn't seem quite ready to start on the pitch. Malik to play for the Youf ...

Re: Osama Malik back to the Reds?
He would be a good squadie to have. But I think if he comes back here it will be because NQF have been folded by the FFA - and that would be complete bollocks.

Re: What now for A-league with no Aussie world cup?
What negetives does this result in for the HAL? Not much, other than we are not as attractive a place to invest. So our financial growth is restricted but the HAL and the FFA is not dead. The main positive out of all this is that the FFA is going to have to concentrate on the HAL and make it as secu...

Re: Australia's World Cup 2022 Bid
does anyone else feel that although these stadiums are amazing, its just not what the world cup is about. Playing a Cup final at say wembley, or the MCG or where ever else that already have years and years of history to me means more then a diamond encrusted stadium that will be dismantled a year l...

Re: Australia's World Cup 2022 Bid
Their proposed stadiums look absolutely extraordinary. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/gallery/2010/dec/02/world-cup-2022-qatar-stadiums-pictures?CMP=twt_gu#/?picture=369311073&index=11 They all look open-air though - how they hell will the cooling systems work effectively? They are meant to be ...

Re: Nathan Burns
He is a good example of commitment - thought he had it made here in the HAL before moving to Greece and discovering that he should have been working twice as hard. Got himself stuck in and made the best of every opportunity he created for himself and is now playing first XI football. Well done Nathan!

Hey! Calm down - I said I could be wrong, but I am sure I am not. From recolection he was made Aus marquee to move him outside the salary cap in order to look at SVD whom we could not afford under the salary cap along with Hugene.

Qatar, proof that you don't need to be compliant to win the World Cup - all you need is a big pile of petrochemical wealth.
