Re: Who's signed for next season

So McGree has been suspended from all national team duties until April (the other Olyroos guys involved in the 'Cambodia incident' have been banned until August). A woman made an official complaint and judging from the penalties it must be something quite serious - very disappointing that one of our...

Re: Matildas

Great night at Coopers. The Matildas ran the game and should have won by at least three. Wasn't unlike AU's last game against Brisbane. Chile stacked the back and rarely threatened but blunted the Matildas. Exciting, skilful game though. Chile supporters were wonderful. Decent crowd too! Agree on a...

Re: Adelaide United v Brisbane Roar Match day Jamboree!!!©

Yeah but even putting aside Brisbane's game plan there were a lot of sloppy mistakes, misplaced passes, etc. Mileusnic worked hard all game and had good moments but he & Kitto were not on the same wavelength at all. Troisi playing deep was not something I'd expect to see but he did really well. Part...

2019/20 Round 4 vs BYE

Hard to predict how this one will unfold :? Seriously though I am concerned that the 15 day gap from the Newcastle game to our match v Brisbane will destroy our momentum. At least Brisbane under Fowler look pretty rubbish so far. It would be nice if the club really pumped up this next match to get a...

Re: FFA CUP FINAL! Adelaide United v Melbourne City 2019/2020

I will say that we were lucky City didn't jag a goal early because the game would have been very different momentum-wise. They were targeting Kitto with long diagonal balls and he was beaten a few times, that strategy could well have paid off for them.

Re: New rectangular stadium in Adelaide?

Our little ground is still the envy of every other football fan in Australia. We will never get something like the new Wanderers ground (which they are sharing with a rugby league side), at best we'd get some soulless multisport stadium with cruddy turf and which still wouldn't meet the needs of mos...

Re: FFA CUP FINAL! Adelaide United v Melbourne City 2019/2020

Yep. All the goals featured great buildup play too - this was a big team effort. Aside from the obvious stars of the night Toure and McGree, everyone played their roles. Won't see them on the highlights reel but D'Arrigo and Maria played really well together, both extremely comfortable on the ball a...
