Better than a non-convicted criminal, I guess.
How can he be a "former convicted criminal"? Did he receive a pardon, found innocent on appeal or are the Advertiser's lofty editorial standards awry?

Re: Congratulations Ange
There will be a lot of interest in him, that's for sure. Will be interesting to see where he goes.
I guess we can all go back to not giving a toss about Spurs.

Re: Australia World Cup 2026 Journey!
Mathematically no, Saudi can still progress if they defeat us by five goals in the next match.Have we qualified?
As the Saudis are guaranteed to go through to the 4th round, expect them to come out all guns blazing.

Re: Australia World Cup 2026 Journey!
Is there any reason Goodwin isn't included? I'm not sure if he's playing in Saudi at the moment? Feels a little like he's on the outer since Popa came in. I'm intensely bias but I still feel he's our best attacking threat, and most likely to put the ball in the net when he has an shooting opportuni...

Re: Who's signed for next season
Ethan Alagich looked good, however I would like an on-pitch mentor with him to help him continue his development.

Whilst unhappy with the City win, I'd have been miserable with Victory holding the toilet seat aloft.

For someone who touts success as a key to masculinity, he sure spends a lot of time failing.

I agree with this; good choice. I know we struggled in the second-half of the season, however thought Ethan did well throughout.

You can't fault him for lacking enthusiasm.Nestory Irankunda sat out the game because of too many yellow cards.

Re: A-League Men 2024/25
Watched the second-half of the Australia Cup game in Darwin, Mariners vs Perth. Mariners were lucky to get away with a 2-3 loss; Perth were all over them, though came back right at the end in extra-time with a decent penalty save from Sale giving Perth the spoils. It's a decent stadium, though the h...
