Re: Who's signed for next season
Even Absalonsen, Boland, Adlung, Diawara were good if injured too much. Now we have nothing. On the positives, Yull seems to be doing well, pity we have a wealth of CM's. I do think that’s a bit harsh. Jakobsen is probably one of our best ever CB’s while Lopez is a real coup. Juande is a good playe...

Re: Who's signed for next season
I loved Elsey cus he was a local lad and played his heart out, but take out that and he was a middling player who has cost us a lot of points over the years.
If the club recruits well he isn't that hard to replace tbh.

Re: Who's signed for next season
So far the only player i'm really dissapointed in losing is Strain and to a lesser extent Pacifique, the rest have either not proven themselves on the training track or proven to not be good enough at senior level to compete with the best teams. Other than that we need to remember we are owned by a ...

Re: Who's signed for next season
There's been plenty of players tear it up the state league yet look horrible at Aleague level for AU over the years, unless people have watched training it's hard to judge Veart and the club for letting a player go.

Re: Who's signed for next season
There was a story recently about City being into Leckie in a big way to get him back to the A-league, wouldn't be surprised if he comes back thats where he ends up though if MV are trying to make a serious bid to get back into finals contention they easily have the ability to throw a marquee spot an...

They can be played together if the midfield behind them is structured right, but Veart got it all wrong in this game in the mids after he started making subs.Cannot play the toure bros together, they offer nothing defensively.

Re: Adelaide United v Brisbane Roar Match Day jamboree!!!©
As much as i said the club should be accountable, i guess Troisi leaving late caused part of the problem despite the club trying to get rid of him and Konstandopoluous probably would have been to guy who played the majority of the season in the AM role but he went down so that did bugger us up a bit...

Re: Adelaide United v Brisbane Roar Match Day jamboree!!!©
There isheaps of talk about our young african attacking players every week, just imagine how good they would look with someone like Diamante playing balls for them run onto every week. A quality no10 is an absolute must for the team and is something the managment should be held accountable for not s...

Re: Who's signed for next season
Apparently Josh Cavallo is training with us after getting released by WU. Not sure why we even need him tbh. Youth Australian rep, kinda suits what our club is about i guess. Is he an attacking mid? Could be an asset if he's half decent, i don't know anything about him. On another note is there any...

Re: Who's signed for next season
From what i can see Dario Vidosic is without a club atm, if he's fit he would be a half decent AM for the rest of the season at least.

Re: Adelaide United v Western United Match Day Jamboree!!!©
play kitto at LB, push Maria into the midfield alongside D,Ariggio to give the kid some support. McGree starts in midfield and toss a coin for the rest of the underperforming fools around him. Halloran starts if fit. Oh and Marrone in for Elsey who can sit on the bench for a bit.
