Great for those two lads but I was excited to see them grow next year.
Add in the fact we'll have $1m less in dividends from the APL next season and I'd be surprised if we signed anyone other than youth team prospects.
Meanwhile the older boys will be another year older...

Re: Pride Round AU- 2024
Great initiative but not playing in Red against MV is a huge own goal.
I would prefer we had the Pride Cup with a different team - perhaps Sydney during the Madi Gras or something. Anyone but MV.
Would make more sense than against our most bitter rival.

Maybe do what the club is there to do , promote football not every woke story that comes up . And I don’t hate the pride lot just sick and tired of having to say ur ok and safe , my be the 95% on the other side don’t want to have this ramped down our throats . Go about ur life like the rest of us a...

Form and heat for sure.
White home kits against our biggest rival also a big own goal.
Reportedly AVM turned away several MV fans who had been banned using facial recognition at the gates.

Not sure what others think, but CV looks and sounds tired and has for quite a while now. Not great that Kitto and Mauk are also under a cloud now, going to be up against it for sure. Season's done and he's got nothing left to give. We need to avoid bottom 4 tho so we don't have to play off the for ...

Re: Wellington Phoenix v Adelaide United Match Day Jamboree!!!©
Better side that half but nothing to show for it. Not convinced that goal was onside. The line they drew was foot to foot but Old's shoulder was further forward than his foot which they've ignored. How they can overturn the on-field decision with that lack of evidence is beyond me. 3 huge chances to...

The guy who was going to buy Adelaide United but then decided to purchase Catania in Sicily has now become the new Perth Glory owner. Perth Glory have finally landed a new owner, with property developer Ross Pelligra setting big goals for the A-Leagues club. https://neoskosmos.com/en/2024/02/20/spo...

Re: National Second Tier
My understanding is Football Australia (FA) is responsible for the NST, rather than the APL.
FA aren't in the same financial trouble as APL (at least nothing has been reported) and obviously want to press on with it.

If we lose this, the season will be officially over - 9 point gap to them in 6th place.
A win, and we are only 3 points adrift.
The ultimate 6-pointer.
Expectations are low but anything can happen in this league.
No Hiro or Cavallo, but Nestor, Ben, Ansell, Toure are all selected.

Agree on the comments re Carl. Seems to be hanging players out to dry which is never a good look and terrible for morale.
Best coaches around the world get behind their players when times get tough and take responsibility.
Question is: who is gonna come in to work with kids and no budget?

No win in 3, fresh off a draw against cellar dwellers PG...
Form suggests a comfortable loss but anything can happen with this squad.
A real 6 pointer in the context of the finals.
COYR!

Spot on.No ones disputing that we need 2-3 new players in their prime (not more kids or more mid to late 30’s players).
I just think the majority of our fans are better than you’re suggesting, and won’t just abandon ship when the team needs them most.
