Re: RE: Re: Predictions for 24/25

Wheels fell off when the Joey's went away. Never rediscovered our form after that. That, the injured we got at that time and Carl after the Western game also mentioned some training ground incidents. In another press conference if I recall correctly, he mentioned the players being distracted. The v...

Re: RE: Re: Who's signed for next season

Personally I would like to see them try and talk Isa into one more year. He can definitely still do a job, at least as a fill in,
100%

Still the best midfielder we have. Which probably says as much about the rest of our mids as it does about Isa.

Isa and maybe Elsey are the only ones I'm re-signing from the 2025 list.

Re: RE: Re: Auckland FC v Adelaide United Match Day Jamboree!!!©

Crawford is really classy. Does not look like a 3rd gamer. Wow. He had a solid outing; very encouraging. A much, much better game from him. Perhaps helped by playing in a stronger team. Still a few mistakes (as you would expect), but showing a lot of potential. Not sure why Mauk didn't start, unles...

Re: Auckland FC v Adelaide United Match Day Jamboree!!!©

Elsey and Kitto gave us great balance today.

Thought we bossed that after 20 mins whilst having a big weakness in goal with Cox really struggling.

Draw a fair result. We went to their ground and took it to them.

Big point on the road after last week.

Coaches to blame for that one. Can't fathom how anyone looked at that lineup and went "bingo - that's the best we can do". Elsey and Cavallo are both fit so I don't care how underdone they are - you don't play a teenage winger at RB who's 5'5" and raid midfield when you've got defenders on the bench...

Re: Adelaide United v Melbourne City Match Day Jamboree!!![emoji2398]

The less said about the first half the better. Our ineptness was only matched by City's inability to punish us. Much better second half. MC never really looked dangerous. Isa at CB will be more than fine for a month whilst Pana is out. But, as others have alluded to, we have zero coverage if injurie...

Re: RE: Re: Who's signed for next season

Any update on this Klomp signing? Nothing official from the club yet. Carl on Klomp today “He’s here for three weeks. You know, he’s in his second week now. He’s doing well and we’ll make that assessment at the end of his three week trial. Sounds like he's pretty average the way Carl is talking abo...

Re: Adelaide United v Melbourne Victory Match Day Jamboree!!!©

Special night at Hindmarsh and a great result to send us top. Rode our luck at times and on the balance of play were the second best team. 3 goals and 3 points with 0.7xG. We won't get many of those. Need a few gritty wins over the course of a season but we need to be better next time. Quick turnaro...

Re: Who's signed for next season

I've heard on good authority that Awer won't be signed by AU this window. He's training with the squad but looking for another gig overseas.

Re: Who's signed for next season

Would love to pick up Awer but as Otto said, we are flushed with wingers.

It will be sad if he goes to another A-League club. He stated earlier in the year he one day wanted to come back to Adelaide.

Re: Adelaide United v WS Wanderers Match Day Jamboree!!!©

Luka was reportedly dropped from a dummy spit after the Sydney game. Don't recall seeing anything but they mentioned it during the broadcast. WSW were far too good and we didn't change things up when needed in that second half. Deli has made a few howlers these last two games and cost us points so I...
