Couple games on the bench for Nestory. Not a great start. Fingers crossed he can play some minutes in the lead up to January.

We've been "ready" twice this zeason for SM (1-2) and Cong An (0-2), so not holding my breath.

Things are always meagre at AU, but this is the leanest off-seasons that I can ever recall. No senior signings aside from Brazete (who is arguably a squaddie).

The youngsters seem promising, and I generally like our youth first approach, however we really do need some reinforcements at 9 who will actually play regularly this season.

Best thing about these is that they're Thursday night games. From memory, ACL was always Tuesday which sucked. This should be good for crowds!

Whoops, forgot about Mo in my wrap - but he didn't feature in Norwich's opening day defeat at home to West Brom.

Any whispers about us signing a striker? With no evidence that Anselmo or Riak will string more than a couple games together this season, I hope number 9 is our one target before season proper.

Hopefully he can live up to the hype. Still a way to go to become a 90 minute player imo. Has to have one of the highest ceilings out of all Aussie footballers right now!
