Re: Who's signed for next season
While it's disappointing to see a local lad pull on the V Who's place in the side is he taking? Unless he's come back a significantly better player I don't think the club needs another young developing CM. Whilst I don’t think he’s good enough to be an undisputed starter, he’d be replacing Isaias a...

Re: Adelaide United Media Thread 2025
We need to be careful here. Maybe there was a "team meeting" or "team supervision" where people were expected to give their opinions and it got heated and out of hand. The Dutch are known for their straight, forthright and no bullshit manner. Maybe he was just too hard and honest with the group. B)...

Re: Adelaide United Media Thread 2025
Action is certainly required by the club now this is all public. But I think its unfair at this stage to say the whole club is at fault for the alleged actions of one staff member. Sure if this was a planned strategy to get rid of Carl for the hierarchy that requires serious change. But considering ...

Re: Adelaide United Media Thread 2025
Hopefully for the club's sake this was just Faber's acting out alone. If the rumours are true I just can't imagine a workplace thinking this is the right way to go about things and actively taking steps to make these events occur.

Re: Who's signed for next season
Is there still rules around players under 18 leaving?
Good luck to him but as an AU fan I'd love to see him stay.

Re: Adelaide United Media Thread 2025
Nice to see backstabbing and in fighting isn't something purely exclusive to Australian football :D Without hearing Faber's side of things. I can't recall if the decision to let Carl go had been made by the Perth game. But with 3 games of the season left after that game, surely he/the club could hav...

Re: New owner ?
They already do. The problem is the queue of people lining up to throw millions at a club they are unlikely to see again, is very short. I'm sure there would be licenses awarded to people who probably shouldn't have got it over the years. But the alternative would at times be the club folds. If the ...

Re: New owner ?
The AL model is almost totally dependent on money from owners. Income from tickets, sponsors and TV isn't enough. AU is growing financially and with consistent transfer fees the club will move thru this feeder club phase and will be able to hold on to players longer. Imagine another couple of years...

Tatu looks extremely exciting. Can score from distance and beat a defender.

Re: New owner ?
Well they are saying the right things as far as continuing the path the club is on. I'd hate to see someone come in and focus on short term gains. Hopefully they are keen to invest more into the sustainability of the club and the season where the club sold Nestory and Gauci becomes standard. I agre...
