Re: New owner ?
The AL model is almost totally dependent on money from owners. Income from tickets, sponsors and TV isn't enough. AU is growing financially and with consistent transfer fees the club will move thru this feeder club phase and will be able to hold on to players longer. Imagine another couple of years...

Re: Who's signed for next season
Tatu looks extremely exciting. Can score from distance and beat a defender.

Re: New owner ?
Well they are saying the right things as far as continuing the path the club is on. I'd hate to see someone come in and focus on short term gains. Hopefully they are keen to invest more into the sustainability of the club and the season where the club sold Nestory and Gauci becomes standard. I agre...

Re: Who's signed for next season
I agree Martin I think Yaya changed several games last season when he came on. I did find him get a bit lost when he started. This season has changed my opinion of him greatly. The challenge will be for Airton to keep all this attacking talent firing so if either Goodwin goes down injured or AU lose...

Re: ASEAN Club Championship
Slightly on topic, but Man Utd slumped to a 1-0 defeat of the ASEAN All-Stars which 4 AL players including Dukuly took part. Dukuly even started! https://aleagues.com.au/news/a-league-asean-all-stars-man-utd-segecic-dukuly-adamson-details-friendly/ Great to see some AL involvement within the region ...

Re: Australia World Cup 2026 Journey!
Is there any reason Goodwin isn't included? I'm not sure if he's playing in Saudi at the moment?
Feels a little like he's on the outer since Popa came in. I'm intensely bias but I still feel he's our best attacking threat, and most likely to put the ball in the net when he has an shooting opportunity.

Re: Coaching
One thing that really stands out also. Airton took a squad that was made up primarily of players in the current AL squad to the FSA championship. To do that with a essentially a youth development squad is very impressive in my books and highlights he's able to balance development with results.

A You Beauty!Talk on Twitter that Ayoubi is one of four AL players who are set to be called up for Lebanon. The other three players being Western United duo Ramy Najjarine and Khoder Kaddour as well as Melbourne City youngster Mikey Ghossaini.

Re: Who's signed for next season
Gee it’s good to see that some one sees that clough is not a full rounded player , he panics when he gets into the box , not saying he’s a bad player but as a playmaker that we need he is not it 4th in the Johnny Warren medal 3rd in A league assists for the season 4th in completed crosses 7th in ch...
