Re: Sam Kerr- Womens Footballer of the Year! 2019
She is shaping into the best footballer Australia has produced so far. Who knows Stuckey, one day your two girls could be wearing the Red of United and the Green and Gold of Australia! I wish it for them! B) I'm trying my best! Grandpa has number 1 interested in Cricket for the time being. Wife isn...

Re: J1-League
Amazing! I'm not sure if there is a world league rankings like there is nation rankings. But if there is I'd doubt an Australian coach has won a higher standing league. I wonder if there is potential for Ange to move up the ranks in the City group? I doubt Pep's job is in peril at the moment but the...

Re: Sam Kerr- Womens Footballer of the Year! 2019
Amazing! I get such an amazing sense of pride that the women's game is becoming so strong globally and Australia is a massive part of that. As a father of two girls I'm very excited for the future women like Sam are playing a big role in paving.

Re: Who's signed for next season
Amazing news. Finally AU are getting back to the Gombau/Amor period of building up young players, those players doing enough to warrant the club investing in them for the future. I hope these contacts include some healthy buy out clauses that can work for all parties.

Re: Who's signed for next season
Agreed, Konstandopolous, Armiento, Pacifique, Margush, Brook - They should all be looking to do a stint. Think their season runs March to December, no reason our guys should go there June-November for example. Yes, especially as the rules around these kids playing NPL is very strict in SA. Couple t...

Re: BeoutQ
I can't believe the Italians would be so blind to that. I've noticed as I watch Inter Milan games regularly they have put up "Piracy is killing Football" on their video fence screens around the ground from time to time. I do find that amusing that the game is crying out that people are stealing som...

Re: Who's signed for next season
So Boland has just undergone surgery in his knee which hasn't recovered properly. 4-6 weeks which takes us to January. From a personal perspective I hope he recovers well and gets back to playing soon, but for AU we need to replace him in January. Visa spots are just too valuable, particularly when...

Re: BeoutQ
The joyous geopolitics continues unabated with Egyptian side Zamalek refusing to play the CAF Super Cup against Esperance of Tunisia in Qatar (Egypt being part of the anti-Qatar coalition). Why they are playing the CAF Super Cup in Asia is a reasonable question, which is answered once more by geopo...

Just a delayed comment on the Riley McGree and others incident being kept from at least two board members leading to their resignations. Sorry to comment so late on this, but if this had happened under Gallop this forum would have had people posting in outrage. It happens now and ... tumbleweeds. I...

Re: AUFC vs Wellington
We are a club that has demonstrated we are ones to watch for more trophies. However at this stage its nothing more than a good streak of form in a tight league like this. We have been fantastic but we need to prove we can be consistently good The key generally in the HAL is injuries IMO. Keep the k...

Re: Adelaide United v Melbourne Victory Match Day Jamboree!!!©
Does anyone know the name of that dreadful song that was played at the end of the game? I never want to hear that again. Complete with trombone it sounded like a 1950s footy victory song. Completely out of place at Coopers. I wonder if a song actually exists that ALL AU fans would be happy to hear ...
