Re: Travis Dodd is moving west, Reid no longer required.

I think the club's offer as reported was fair. I don't blame Dodd for taking Perth's offer, good luck to him.

Anyone who boo's him is a fuckwit.

Re: Fans

What was annoying was that some offenders were being pointed out to Police & Security but they didn't seem keen to wade through the crowd to get to them so some got away scot free.

Re: Arsenal still in race for 4 titles

There are indeed Nick. I cannot tell you how much this means to me. I honestly thought I would die before Blues ever won anything again. I think of my late Grandpop, who I was named after, who I never met but left me this wonderful gift of supporting Birmingham City Football Club. The friends I have...

The guy broke his leg because he showed commitment to the cause.

Good enough for me - required player.

Re: Adelaide v Gold Coast: Matchday Jamboree ©

*Sigh*

We blew it in a Home Final again.

Probably deserved it the way some of the idiots in the crowd carried on at the end, t'was disgraceful.

An improvement on last season for sure, but at times this season promised so much more than a 4th place finish.

Re: Adelaide United "super club"?

I see many, many cars down south with AUFC stickers - are you trying to say that we need to travel even further to support our club? Exactly, I'm from down South (Seaford, although I don't live there any more) and I can say there is a huge following for AUFC in the Southern Suburbs. Any club facili...

Re: Reid returns to Reds

The signing of Usucar, Andy Slory, Osama Malik and Dario Bodrusic seemingly invaded the comfort zones of Reds' regulars, who were rarely challenged for starting berths until the quartet's arrival. The signing of Gold Coast's Zenon Caravella's for next season has also ruffled some feathers. Coolen s...

Re: Adelaide United "super club"?

Feck being a "super club" - a club that has solid & successful mens, womens & youth teams would suffice ta very much.

Re: Hindmarsh or adelaide oval?

The Redbacks are playing a Shield game at Adelaide Oval this week, there is no way the pitch could be suitable for Football so shortly afterwards. That said, of course they'll play it there, it doesn't matter if the spectacle is ordinary so long as there's 30,000+ to see it.

Re: Fear of the football fan-Fear of the other!

The attitude of Weslo & SAPOL certainly seemed different last night - I can only assume there was a directive from the FFA or their mates at Hatamoto (who I'm assuming still overview security for Finals matches) to crack down on anyone who did anything that might be seen as slightly out of line. The...

Re: Adelaide United vs Wellington Phoenix Match Day Jamboree

Pretty ordinary game but a better 2nd half performance lit up by a beautiful through ball from van Dijk that was finished beautifully by Dodd. Conditions were atrocious tonight, the rain was so heavy at times it was hard to see the other end of the pitch. I'm amazed 10K came out tonight, great effor...

Re: Reid walks out on Reds after AFC transfer denied

Summary of Griffin's comments on 5AA: * Says Reid only told not to train after telling Rini his "mind wasn't right". * Starting XI for the game hasn't been picked. * Says Fox Sports story re Muscat-Kosmina medal is completely wrong. * AUFC will not release Reid to SFC "in my lifetime". * Club would'...

Re: Reid walks out on Reds after AFC transfer denied

Incredibly disappointing, if the release requested was for him to go prior to our finals campaign being wrapped up then that is wholly unforgivable. If it was to go after the Finals campaign then the situation becomes a whole lot more blurred. It has been reported that Reid, amongst others, was unha...
