Re: Who's signed for next season
Bbbbbbb....but, Gombau only hires mid-fielders :) Seriously, it'd be nice to see him work on getting a solid back end and a solid front end and, most importantly, using players in their correct position rather than trying to make mid-fielders do the job (eg, Malik). It's my biggest complaint about h...

Re: Preview - Elim Final: AUFC v Roar
I like Stebre. Having said that, he's had a couple of shockers this season. He is, at least, fair and if getting stuff wrong, does so for both teams.
As for their team on paper, don't forget, they're still saddled with the awful coach.

Re: Preview - Elim Final: AUFC v Roar
Jade North just had his appendix out. That would mean he's out, wouldn't it? He's out. With Thysen's (spelling?) selections, who knows what that means. If we front a balanced team (which Gombau consistently does), keep our heads (oh shit, we're in trouble), and play our natural game (flip a coin), ...

Re: #boycottadelaideoval
The eastern states don't give a stuff about us. We aren't from NSW or Vic and are therefore irrelevant. The SA govt. doesn't give a stuff about anything but AFL and no, I don't really understand why - I can see some reasons for it but overall, it's so narrow minded that it makes no sense at all (I m...

Re: Third place
Gombau built the team and the style and the skills to go top. We didn't manage it because we don't have the guts and stability of MV. SFC can go get stuffed, they're still trying to buy success and get no respect as a result. I think we underperformed and I think the reasons are ultimately a coachin...

Re: #boycottadelaideoval
Look, the only rational result is to pack Adelaide Oval (thus sticking it up the gAFL crowd) and flogging Brisbane (thus sticking it up the Eastern states). I share your disappointment but letting the club down achieves little other than letting the boys down. Though a big crowd may justify the stat...

Typical aufc , get the fans hopes up before you break their hearts! Did not think either red was deserved. -Jaliens was clumsy and was just a tangle of legs , certainly would have left goodwin with a bit to do after his heavy touch. /yellow card -marrone miss timed tackle but only connectwd with hi...

Re: Adelaide United v Melbourne City Match Day Jamboree!!!©
No one who has any real connection with AU imagines that Adelaide Oval is a good option for any game. Sadly, the idiots making the decisions have no connection with AU.Adelaide Oval is mentioned as the possible finals venue and both the Fox commentators question the decision.

Re: Adelaide United v Melbourne City Match Day Jamboree!!!©
Marrone is not in the first XI anyway, will not be missed. Not in the first XI but our back line has looked more settled tonight than it has for a long time. I'd regard him as a loss (and Boogard a debatable gain). But yeah, we're heading into the finals in ... sort of, almost but maybe not quite, ...
