Re: Who's signed for next season
I can understand Iniesta going for Sydney. If he is after a combo of lifestyle and football then it would be the obvious choice. Sydney also have Champions League as a bonus. What I object to is FFA funding it and giving extra concessions to Sydney but it’s unavoidable if it happens. If Iniesta is s...

Re: Who's signed for next season
Iniesta would be a great pickup for us
Then I wake up and realise no doubt FFA and Sydney will work together. Looking forward to the Iniesta clause and FFA subsidy...then his non appearance in Adelaide “due to soft tissue Injury”

Re: 2018/19 Season Could be AUFC most important
I have had similar discussions with my mates over the last few weeks. We have all been members for 10 years but at the same crossroad. Absolutely sick of the FFA and the poor standard of referee in this league. It seems there are so few refs in the league and they all have their perception of player...

Re: Finals Scenario
If we are 5th I think we are in Newcastle half of draw..it’s unlikely we will beat Victory but you never know...this is why the goal difference is so important...don’t want to play city or Sydney

Re: Sydney FC v Adelaide United FFA Cup Final Match Day Jamboree!!!©
Zullo has given his medal to the ballboy quoting “he put his body on the line for us tonight”. I think this sends the wrong message. The bsllboy avoided giving the ball to Marrone and turned his back. I think Marrone had momentum and couldn’t stop. It’s not a good look for Marrone and he will (and s...

Re: Who's signed for next season
Someone mentioned Choi before...he would be a great signing
He showed enough when he was here, he is young and although may initially take a Visa spot will not be for long. And he would be cheap.
He has the potential if we are quick enough to sign

Re: Who's signed for next season
The most disappointing part of tonight wasn't losing...I can't fault the effort the players put in tonight. It was entertaining yet frustrating... No, what really annoyed me more than anything was that half-arsed, disinterested lap around the ground by the players after. I, like others, stayed to cl...

ACL draw
Trying to plan a trip and hoping to catch a Reds match in Asia next year but......does anyone know when the draw is happening? Not on ACL website and cannot find with any Google searching. All I know is that the draw is in KL early December......anyone know?

Re: Kamau departure
I just hope that Euro move comes sooner rather than later so I can be happy for him again :D This is where I have the problem... He is obviously doing well at City and good on him (begrudgingly) but with a Euro move seeming increasingly likely, who benefits from developing him? Melb city not us... ...

Re: Who's signed for next season
Bulut....
Would we?....could we?
I say yes, the guy has talent and still young, would be looking for Socceroo recall and Asian Champions League must be tempting.
If Bruce goes we should consider....

Re: Kamau departure
From bruce kamau I want to formally confirm that in consultation with my management and my family, we have, albeit being a very difficult one, come to the conclusion that it will be important for my career progression to move to the City Football Group, that incorporates Manchester City and Melbour...

Re: Kamau departure
Kamau will be paid $1500 a week at City. That's an annual salary of $78,000. As for his reasons for signing, I have heard that it was agreed months ago - likely when our form was poor and he wasn't getting a game. I'm a bit surprised by this amount (if true). Thought he would have hit the six figur...

Re: Kamau departure
Agree with the Dario thing..shouldn't boo....same with Dodd when he came here.... However, players like Lustica and Flores I would boo all night long. One of my fave times at Hindmarsh was Flores asking to be subbed because he just didn't handle the boos. Kamau...I just don't know...I want to know m...

Re: Kamau departure
One further thing...is this all part of a gentlemans agreement with City stemming from the Mauk/Malik deal and are we yet to see who may end up here?
