Re: Western United v Adelaide United Match Day Jamboree!!!©
We’ve climbed to 8th on the ladder. Just have to ensure we get more points than Roar and we won’t need to qualify for Australia Cup next season.

I suspect Nestory will be targeted by Risdon ang Garrucio. I’d leave him on the bench until 75 minutes in.

Re: Perth Glory v Adelaide United Match Day Jamboree!!!©
The first of five games in nineteen days, that's one game every 3.8 days. Looks like we're safe from the wooden spoon but finals are probably a step too far. The squad is going to be stretched.

Re: Women's team
I’ve watched a fair few games on 10Bold and Paramount+ this season. In my opinion the team is lacking match winners and leaders. There appears to be a total lack of confidence throughout the entire group. Losing 8 nil at home was evidence of that. The players look comfortable with the ball so the sk...

Re: Pride Round AU- 2024
I agree with you totally, but ….. I suspect that behind all this is a failed marketing ploy to raise attendances by getting more bums on seats. I think Josh, Isobel and the women’s reserve goalie have had their sexual preferences abused for the sake of potential monetary gain. Call me a cynic, I’ve ...

Re: Adelaide United v Melborne Victory Match Day Jamboree!!!©
Was the attendance of 8700 the lowest ever for the Original Rivalry? Was it because of the heat or the disinterest in the Pride Cup? Questions need to be asked. It’s a good job the Victory fans weren’t banned as suggested by the stadium management a few months back. This clash used to mean something.

Re: Who's signed for next season
No Carl doesn’t have the international connection of the other coaches mentioned. But the problem is that the Club has announced its intentions to develop talent and sell on. Would a seasoned professional really want to compete with a seventeen year-old with potential for a starting position? Unless...

Re: Wellington Phoenix v Adelaide United Match Day Jamboree!!!©
Definitely one of the better performances I’ve seen this season. But it could have been that the Nix were stuck in second gear until that well taken penalty woke them up. If United could keep that team together for a couple of years we may become a highly competitive team once again. But that’s high...

Re: Who's signed for next season
With Bovalina, Halloran, VDS, Panashe and Nestory there was a glut of right-sided attackers. I felt sorry for Bernardo as he had performed well at international level with the Joeys. Perhaps CV didn’t want to be accused of nepotism or maybe Bernardo had voiced his opinions. We’ll never know. I rated...

And the second lowest attendance of the season. You can excuse the worst gate against Brisbane, the weather was diabolical. To lose 3400 fans in a week should hit the board in the pocket. That may see them sit up and take notice. You can’t fool all the people all of the time.

Re: Adelaide United v CC Mariners Match Day Jamboree!!!
I think members and walk ins are entitled to expect some form of entertainment. After all it’s their hard earned money that supports the club. Last night’s game was not a spectacle, and that’s what spectators pay for. We’ll know where the club stands by the end of Feb. If they’re not in the top six ...

Re: Melbourne City v Adelaide United Match Day Jamboree!!!©
Well that was just two bang average teams going through the motions. The apathy on the pitch has been reflected in the Matchday Jamboree feed getting one page of comments. My frustration with the game was primarily the inconsistency of the team and the application of poor coaching decisions. That’s ...

Intriguing game. They’ve lost a very useful playmaker in Sahki but still have Aslan. And Nabbout is back to stir things up. And then there’s the Vidmar factor. Looks like a score draw to me.
