I had wanted to play around with something like this before.
I like the set out, but what to put in each quarter shouldnt just be whats on the adelaide coat of arms. It should represent the club in some way. If whats there does.. then so be it.

Re: Newcastle
Talk is that they'll have a new owner by the end of the financial year. Great news. Hopefully then the FFA can finally put the resources they've been spending on owning a club into expansion. On the Daily Football Show last week, they said it could happen the next day, that hasn't happened, but I a...

Re: (Un)Official Red Army discussion thread
im not having a go at the RA at all - not sure how that came about from my post tbh. I dont think the chant should go for 10 minutes, but an extra round of Shalala. thats all im saying. It started to catch on with the remainder of the crowd in rounds leading up to the semi final, when Glen worked so...

Re: (Un)Official Red Army discussion thread
that wasnt the point of what i was saying.
I was meaning, to include more people & engaging for the rest of the supporters, it should be extended a bit.
More for the people who go every week.. that do know the chants, that want to get involved but don't.

Re: (Un)Official Red Army discussion thread
I had some feedback from some first timers from the GF that the sha la la chant didnt go for long enough, by the time the other parts of the crowd caught on it was finishing up. Bit of a different story with Adelaide oval and 50k. But i think next year we'll see a bit more involvement from the rest ...

Re: AUFC 2016 NPL Season
the schools is a good idea, they're virtually untapped & with no league system in place - Just rotating fixtures.
the junior squads, if set up correctly, could have aspiring coaches who learn the theory of our game style so its not a shock or hard to pick up once they hit u/18 > seniors.

Re: AUFC 2016 NPL Season
yeah i understand its the clubs decision to not pay the players. Which i understand they're going to get players that truely want to be there. But at the end of the day, when you're 20 years old and the prospect of being paid $600+ a week, and if you're actually good enough it wont matter what team ...

Re: AUFC 2016 NPL Season
something needs to happen next year with having an age limit on the squad & paying these youth team players. i dont know a lot about it, but to be honest if we cant have players over (what ever the age limit is) we invest so much time into developing these players and then if they're not quite ready...

Re: Who's signed for next season
The advantage we have over City & the victory is that we're A: the champions
B: the premiers
& C: playing champions league this year.
Surely the club has free'd up a visa spot for a marquee player.

Re: New rectangular stadium in Adelaide?
I know it was grandfinal day, but the amount of people out before the game and after the game was fantastic. This is where hindmarsh loses out. As greg griffen stated at the town hall gathering last wednesday, the state has $0 to spend on stadium upgrades. We'll be lucky to get the corners and a roo...

Re: Kamau departure
No, that's my point. I'm hearing so much about how we need to show him so much respect for all he's done for us and that he will always be an AUFC legend. He should get treated like any other opposition player.Sure you dont owe him anything. But does he owe you or anyone else anything ?

Re: Kamau departure
Good riddance - I hope he learns a life lesson that the grass isnt always greener. He would have been on minimum wage coming out of the youth team (55k) and to be on 78k in melbourne? As for booing him, i encourage it, we dont owe him anything, he scored 3 goals in his time here. He by no means is a...
