The UNSW team ended up defending their title. Their training and tactical philosophy (long balls to exploit a speed advantage and lock the ball in the attacking half.) is explained here.

I love the video. The little barstewards even play dirty at times. But isn't it clever how they get themselves up after falling over. It's not often this old phart is impressed by technology these days but these robots are something special (and they're faster than Brucie).
