Hello everybody,
With Rooney equaling Charlton's goal scoring record for Man United, Sky have done a list of all the current 92 clubs in the English leagues to see where your own top scorer ranks for your club, here's the link -
Premier League, Championship, League One & League Two record goalscorers ranked
So just for a bit of debate, not to be taken seriously and ending in petty arguements, who would you consider the greatest?
There's been tons of great goal scorers down the years - Rush, Shearer, Owen, Charlton, Rooney, Best, Henry, Gurney (had to include an SAFC lad!), Lorimer, Channon, Lofthouse etc etc etc!
I realise it's not straight forward, as we're talking about a wide time spectrum and different eras.
Hard to look past Jimmy Greaves though, 266 goals for Spurs in a nine year period. An average of 29.5 goals per season for nine years!
What do other people think?
I didn't find the right solution from the internet.
