The ladies lose 2-1. Probably the right score, even though I don't like it. CCM win first game back in the LAL. They were faster and their passing sharper than ours. After going down 2-0 we did some good work to get back in it but you have to take your chances. Our keeper didn't do well for the first goal but she made some cracking saves to keep us in it. Our goal very nicely worked.
Hoping the lads can go one better. Or two. Or six!
The lady's keeper was our third keeper - numbers 1 and 2 were injured, so she did a good job. Quite a few other injuries too, you have to wonder about the S&C coach.
Poor Ibuzuki can't take a trick tonight. Maybe the game's gone past him.
So is Clough going to be our new set piece man now that Goodwin has gone?
That seems to have been easy?
But I have no idea if it really was so easy ...
I had no power due to some work around the house that took longer than they told us it would.
Fark i hate that.
Adelaide could have scored more but equally could have conceded multiple times but for terrible Mariners finishing. Angel Torres giving huge Brisbane Roar Marcinho energies .

On the one hand I'm happy we won the first home game but on the other I'm pissed I missed it.
I've seen the goals and there was some quality there.
Absolutely brilliant result. Carl worked some magic. The young boys did fabulously.
If not for Vukovic we would have won 6-0. Mind you, if not for Gauci we would have won 6-3. Both keepers exceptional.
A great first night out at Coopers. Even when I was watching from Bali!
Great performance and the kids are looking good! Yull , Nestory, Madanha, Popovic all excellent as starters. some of the players that had a slightly rough time last season at times (Halloran, Clough) performed really well. Isaias great as the anchor man - at his best when he can sit in that deep role.
Bernardo back, Musa T looks exciting, Captain Kitto, Ansell a powerful goal and good defensive presence .. and Gauci a brick wall. Overall I am excited, better in that game than in the back end of last season, that's for sure. Carl got it right (aided of course by unfortunate injuries to key Mariners).
Finally a shout out to Tunnicliffe when he came on, his experience and ability to read the game will be a big factor for us I think. He was directing the younger players around positionally, getting himself into the game and playing some great balls. Looks a definite leader in midfield. And a solid lad too which is important when half the team are skinny kids!
