It is amazing how sometimes Isaias can seemingly stand perfectly still with the ball at his feet with the opposition all around him and he just moves the ball slightly with his feet so that they do not dispose him.

La Rocca is in my top three tonight, thought he was very, very impressive. Djite obviously and perhaps Cirio, although Mauk, Isaias, Kamau, McGowan and Marrone were excellent as well.
How many players in this team are playing their best ever football?
Djite, Marrone, McGowan, Kamau and Goodwin certainly have improved a lot under Amor.

I didn't start following the reds until near the end of the 07-08 season so this will be my first home HAL grand final. Not sure who I'd rather face, we've has Brisbane pretty well beat this season but they do have a good finals record. On the other hand we haven't beaten WSW this season but I dont think they are consistent enough to be considered a good team.

Amazing to be at the game. Bruce is just a different player, he was everywhere, winning difficult balls too him, harassing and winning the ball, laying off the ball with very high accuracy under all sorts of pressure. Mauk is just a great young player, Isaias is amazingly composed under pressure. La Rocca was brilliant, he was massive at the back. Cirio got through a massive amount of work running with the ball everywhere, Kamau works so hard and has skill in bucket loads, just needs to finish a bit better. I thought Goodwin was slightly off, not a lot, but not quite at his best and Carrusca perhaps slightly as well but still played well.

Cirio played his best game in months. Don't know where he has been recently but he was an absolute force and could/should have had two assists before half time.

He seemed to almost be playing through midfield at times?

I guess with the fluidity of our forward line, there were players moving around all over the place.

Hear hear... I called out to that tool Ben Williams on numerous occasions (he was goal line official at the northern end) that he should have a good look at how a "proper ref" conducts himself

Last night might have been his last though - at the final whistle he was being hugged by the other officials, I thought at the time WTF, did the ref just score?
