200 remaining tickets on sale this morning. Guess that means MCY fans snapped up about 2300.
According to the article linked MCY fans bought 500 tickets.
http://www.adelaideunited.com.au/articl ... g8yjryvqh4

2300 would be more than attend their average home game, right?
But I'd expect more than 500 would head over..

I know plenty of Adelaide United fans who are not members and missed out on getting tickets. Shame it's not like this every time we play at Hindmarsh.
Yeh didnt really think as I was posting haha. They had said last week that 14,000 were sold, rest to go on sale to opposition team fans and then remainder to be sold to general public today so I just went-

Capacity 16,500
- 14,000 sold last week =2,500
- 200 tickets remaining =2,300 sold to city fans.

Obviously rediculous now that i think about it. Probably need to consider corporate tickets etc too.

They only got 11k to what would have been their only home finals match.
That was the official figure but judging from how empty the stadium looked on TV I wouldn't be surprised if it was less than that. And they were giving tickets away, too.
They might be strong on the pitch and financially well-backed, but they are not a big club attendance-wise.

Keeping fornaroli and continuing to place higher then victory should help bring in new fans.

Surely city can arrange some big friendlies in the offseason also.

Nerves are building steadily each day!

Bit concerned about the massive break we've had. Not sure it's necessarily a good thing.

On one hand, it's good for Elrich, Carrusca, Isa, Galekovic to fully recover but on the other, it has the potential to kill our form/momentum.

The seniors had a quiet internal match against the NPL side on Friday night, if what I was told is correct. There's some evidence for it - the NPL team lost the next day to Adelaide City, 6-0.

Judging from their brain farts in our last meeting (Kisnorbo's foul leading to free kick, Sorenson giving away penalty, Didulica choking Mauk etc) we are so far inside their heads we'll be able to look out their nostrils.

We're gonna smash em.

We play our best, we win, quite simple. They cannot beat us unless we play badly and we are not going to play badly. Strangely I am struggling to get up for this game, just like the previous home game against City that we lost. Hopefully it is not a sign.

Dropped by training today. Quite a few people there to watch. Best scene was tarek in good form training with the main squad.

Does anyone else get the feeling that MC are being talked up as favorites?

Has anyone wondered if ffa want a grandfinal in Adelaide or if they believe we can fill adelaide oval for the grand final.

The other options this year are brisbane and Sydney

If novillo is cleared to play and decisions start going against us i think we know the answer. Think about the premiers plate decable how it was not suitable for them to unveil it a week late in front of aufc fans....shows how important adelaide is in the grand scheme of things.

Ill put my tin foil hate away for the rest of the week

Did you see Bruce sitting out of training and on the bench? Apparently he missed training from some sort of injury but United are adamant he'll train tomorrow and will be fine to play...

Good result.

But still highlights the inconsistency of the MRP et al.

Berisha law seemed a valid precedent.
