I did not go to the game, was jet lagged as fark! By all accounts we dominated then though which is positive considering brisbane have had a great preseason .

What a shock!! We draw another a-league team lol
I'd rather play the stronger teams, but at least we didn't get Victory away.
I rate Victory, but they have a bad record in Perth so with a bit of luck they'll do us a favour and we'll get Perth at home.
If we play like last night we'll get there.

Mulvey said post match that the team “never got into a rhythm”, and that his side were affected by the strange atmosphere with two out of four stands at Coopers Stadium closed due to on-going renovation works.
Too be fair to Brisbane, they were also without their best marksman, Berisha...

Yeah IMO putting Broich in his place was a bad move. They had nothing in midfield and everything they tried had to come thru Brattan.
That and the insane amount of presume AU applied to the defence gave them little to no chance to move the ball out then their usual way.

A joy to watch!

Have had a smile on my face all day :) can't wait to watch more!

I also think that the S on the Eastern Stand needs an extra white seat in the middle bend. I agree, hiring someone to have a look is a top idea. Tweet the club!

My mate's and I noticed that if Tooheys took over the stadium naming writes the take over maintenance would be fairly cheap! They would only need to change 3 letters!

Roar coach Mike Mulvey did not offer excuses for his side’s capitulation
Yet
“But my daughter could play if she was given five, six, seven, eight yards. That’s not to denigrate any of those boys.”
+ the stadium quote in the Cussen article

Decent article though.

Is anyone gonna head over? Mid week, cup game, sydney. Might have to rely on our sydney based fans to cheer on the lads.
