Membership Packages 2014-15

Postby EdDog Sat Jun 28, 2014 9:34 am

From Adelaide United:

Memberships for the Hyundai A-League 2014/15 Season will go on sale at 10am on Tuesday 1 July 2014.

If you renew before Monday 21 July 2014, you will be able to take advantage of our early bird price. Gold Reserve Seat holders will also have until this date to renew their same seat.

Based on member feedback, we have made some adjustments to our membership packages for Season 2014/15.

We have added some new membership options next season, along with the addition of an optional supporter’s pack (already included in some Membership options). This supporter’s pack can be purchased individually, or as part of your membership package. A number of members have expressed that they do not want to receive a lot of members’ merchandise. Therefore we have created packages to cater for this request. Each membership option can now being broken down into two categories – the standard option, and the Plus option. The Plus option includes a Supporter’s Pack.

There is also a change to the Financial Membership. The Financial Membership will now be known as the Captain’s Club. The basic principal of these memberships will remain the same, but members of the Captain’s Club will receive more special offers and will get exclusive rights.

The 2014/15 Membership brochure will be available to view from Monday. We will email you on Monday with a link to the brochure.

Sadly with my work I'll probably only be getting a 7 match membership.

Ive been a financial member for the last 2 seasons and I still dont know what the extra exclusive benefits are. Hopefully they are outlined better for the captains club otherwise I'll probably downgrade to a standard gold membership.

Hopefully it has something to do with the Castle Tavern as the AUMC are the ones behind that.
But yes were financial members supposed to get voting rights? I don't recall see anything to vote on? Except WATRs player of the year!

This is good. I actually enjoy the member's pack however the last one failed to survive the Philippines postal service so I was going to recommend to the club to not bother in my case.

Somewhere in Metro-Manila some bastard is enjoying their morning tea with an AUFC mug, or whatever it was we received last year :(

I found it impossible to not read Josep's letter in his voice :D

Pretty sure Captain's club/financial membership is cheaper than it used to be?

Less discount for early bird I think. Captains club comes with a scarf instead of a seat cushion last year which is quite cool, wasnt going to get it but now theres a scarf I probably will. Supporters pack does not seem worth 40 bucks.

I think I paid 408 last year for a gold membership with financial membership. Its 396 now.

Taking into account the extra home game this year and inflation, it's a pretty decent deal.

445 members on day 1 apparently.

Great result.

So does anyone have any predictions on how many members we will sign up?

If our goal is to merely get more members then last year, then 6,415 members is our current benchmark. And as of yesterday we have signed up 6.9% of that.

10,000 would be fantastic, is that unrealistic or within our ballpark?
We have exactly 100 days until the opening day of the season, and 107 days until our first home game at Adelaide Oval. So an average of 95 members a day and we could get there.
