I had thought the same. His wine business ventures are also attached to Skilled Park, and he made it pretty clear he wanted to hang around there.

But if true, he would be an interesting addition to our squad.

i'd say end of season, coz A-League players can only move to other A-League clubs if they are out of contract yea? that's always been my understanding.

i can't see Hughes here next year if this is true, or maybe Reid is going to retire?? surely one of them has to give way for these new mids.

Yeah probably although Mrdja, McBreen, Reddy etc all moved mid-season last year.

I'd say Bleiberg would be pretty keen to hang on to him as long as possible.

A-League players can only leave mid season if they have their contract terminated. Otherwise it is the end of the season.
