What a joke.TRAVIS Dodd has been cleared to play against North Queensland Fury after the match review panel expunged his red card tonight.
The Adelaide United captain will now face Fury at Hindmarsh after he was bizarrely expelled in Adelaide's last minute 1-2 loss to Phoenix in Christchurch yesterday.
Dodd was expelled by referee Peter O'Leary when his knee made accidental contact with the head of Phoenix midfielder Vince Lia.
Adelaide was down to 10 men in the 83rd minute when the score was locked in at 1-1 before Ben Sigmund scored the winner in the 94th minute.
Surely that ref could have thought "well he hasn't tried to kill anyone before?"
Sure we didn't play too flash but could have that cost us the game in the end?
