Cassio to Newcastle?
If he is legitimately injured then surely insurance is paying some, if not all, of his wage?
If not, it means he's not injured and just can't get a look in under Gomby. I suspect this is the case.

Of course which I'm sure in turn means AU's premiums are on the rise then!If he is legitimately injured then surely insurance is paying some, if not all, of his wage?

Re: Cassio to Newcastle?
Wonder if Cassio has a desire to go into coaching and if so he's started getting his badges? With Amor here and potentially the start of a more comprehensive youth program with the NYL team playing in the NPL, there could well be some opportunities for him.
Have chatted to him once and he seems like a lovely guy but I trust the (new) football departments decisions on whether he's suited to a position in the club.

Re: Cassio to Newcastle?
I have been wondering about the possibility of Phil Stubbins offering him an assistant coach role at newcastle after this season. They may have had a good relationship while both at the club and if Cassio and Gombau aren't getting along he might not see the coaching future he's looking for here - 4th assistant.
Re: Cassio to Newcastle?
What are you talking about? He'd defs jump in front of Valkanis, just like every other assistant coach who's come in... he might not see the coaching future he's looking for here - 4th assistant.

Re: Cassio to Newcastle?
From what I hear he's looking at setting up or is setting up a junior academy. So I imagine he'd be doing that in Adelaide and would be unlikely to leave any time soon...

I would imagine he'll partner up with Cristiano and work for the FFSA part-time while doing something else on the side. From what I hear he's looking at setting up or is setting up a junior academy. So I imagine he'd be doing that in Adelaide and would be unlikely to leave any time soon...
