I wont lose any sleep. he seemed to have an arrogance and selfishness from what the Melbourne fans had picked up. not that they are the most switched people.

Re: Who's signed for next season
Cassio, where is he at???
Serious doubts for me that he will play this year and if he does, what will he be like?
2 years out practically at his age means a LB should be a major signing priority

I think he'll have a swan song game at Hindy at some stage.

Re: Who's signed for next season
Has Cassio been training?
What happened to Scott Nagel?
Also very impressed by Adelaide City's young LB Acton, I hope Josep has been keeping an eye on him. Jake Halliday from Campbelltown has big wraps on him too but I haven't seen him play.
If we don't sign anybody else there are plenty that could fill in well at LB (Elrich, Marrone, Malik, probably McGowan)- Tarek is good there but would be nice to have a specialist, with a left foot!

All I need is some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine.

Re: Who's signed for next season
Nagel is training with the first team still, Ben Warland seems to be playing/training there predominantly as well.Has Cassio been training?

Re: Who's signed for next season
http://theworldgame.sbs.com.au/article/ ... ortunitiesDespite reports in Italy that a deal with the Pro League side is all but been sealed, sources close to Troisi - back in Turin with his parent club Juventus following his loan last season with Melbourne Victory - suggest that Zulte Waregem is only one of a number of European clubs interested in Troisi and that discussions are still at an early stage.
So its not a done deal as yet, but I agree with many people sentiments that this signing is a bit of a luxury item and I feel if its at the expense of a quality defender I would rather the club focus on that.

Re: Who's signed for next season
i rate him as a player, but it sounds like he (or his agent) is really trying to shop around for the best deal, play teams off against each other, and all the rest. If he wants to come home he wants to come home, otherwise forget about it and go shopping for a defender!

Re: Who's signed for next season
For his sake I hope its more to do with getting the best assurance of first XI game time while the league also being a decent standard. Clearly in Ange's opinion first XI in the HAL is better then reserves almost anywhere else. A correct opinion IMO.i rate him as a player, but it sounds like he (or his agent) is really trying to shop around for the best deal, play teams off against each other, and all the rest. Re: Who's signed for next season
If us having an NPL side next year it's true, I hope we can keep him on for longer. Always had a concern that Gumby as senior coach wouldn't have enough time to oversee our youth program properly. Amor would know exactly the direction to take and help us while giving him experience with the seniors.

IMO that gives the rumour the club will have a NPL side next season more legs.If us having an NPL side next year it's true, I hope we can keep him on for longer. I doubt Amor (being the youth development expert he is) would sign up full time to oversee the NYL season and a lot of youth friendlies.
Obviously he's also looking at the senior squad as well but youth I'm guessing is his focus.

Re: Who's signed for next season
a marquee player with Barca connections wouldn't hurt though - put a few bums on seats. Maybe now the link has been further strengthened these guys can line someone up in the not too distant future.According to val guillermo amor has just been signed as assistant coach and technical director.
