Warland has signed for Brisbane as well. Feel the emergence of Kikianis can cover that loss.
What's our link to BR that is causing all our players to go there? Backroom staff or something else?

Is that 3 players now? 4 if you include Hiroshi yet to be announced.
Don’t think there is a link tbh. However, Hiroshi is going to Western United.

Fuck! This club's board is useless.

You could cop Hiroshi going to a bigger or equal club but this is a huge step down.

Wtf.

This is a real kick in the teeth to AU supporters when we see Hiroshi signing for Western Utd. A massive loss and to lose him to a rival is such a typical AU thing. I guess the good news is that we can still watch the majority of AU favourites in the league, its just that they are playing against us as usual.

Would think AU need to sign a Zawada or AP type at minimum to settle the amount of pissed off AU fans right now.... but expecting we will likely sign another 12 y.o. Can see a large decrease of membership and attendances after this seasons piss poor off and on field efforts and that there is very little transparency from the club these days and a real disconnect between club and fans nowadays. Its really surprising seeeing the current DOF has more experience in marketing than anything else!

TBH Hiro and Van Der Saag are the only two we have lost in the off season I think are losses, but when you combine that with all the better players that were sold during the season, its pretty much a complete rebuild. The fact it comes at a time where the league is practically broke and combined with the absolutely useless football department and scouting at AU, leaves me feeling like it will be lots of kids and AU being a long way off the top 4 teams in the league.

Another issue is that the club signs up average players like Duzel, Cavallo, Delianov, Tunnicliffe and others on 2 or 3 year deals when they really have not earnt anything more than 1 year at best.

The rumoured signing of Nikola Mileusnic won’t be happening. Probably a bullet dodged tbh.

Ryan Strain's contract has expired at St Mirren. I hope we've spoken to him...
All I need is some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine.

I'd take him back.
(And we are in slight need of one or two defenders.)

Only 27 and was starting for the Socceroos last October, so I'd say it's a bit early in his career to be contemplating a return. He did his groin big time on NT duty and was just coming back to full fitness at the end of the SPL season. Just a question of who wants to take a punt on his injury woes being behind him.

It’s good to see so many on here getting angry re our talent , but as must have said we will be wheeling out the kids next year , but on the bright side , games will have to be played mid afternoon as the kids will need to be in bed by 6.30 . On a serious note the club really need to step up and give the supporters something to get behind or they will lose US

Don't worry BP - I've been told that Dutch kids are allowed to stay up later

Heard he was in town recently for a medical.
