We wanted one of the McGowans, we chased them both. Didn't get one and didn't have the coin to chase a decent name.

I'm also not solely blaming the players, they're being set up to fail. D'Arrigo is tired, and the guys ahead of him don't track back.

So the manager wants to give youth a chance in defence and he continues playing a terrible defender like Elsey every game? Dumb. Where's the youth in defence then???

The defence is no different to last year other than Maria who seems to struggle at LB. The problem is our midfield are not defensive minded enough to press or block passing lanes.

You can have the best back four in the world and if you have no midfield presence and have opposition attackers running freely towards goal, it is only a matter of time before they score. We lack a quality defensive mid more than anything.

I like D'Arrigo and he is a future talent but it's gotten too much for him to bare alone this season.

Elsey and Jakobsen look like they've never played together. I swear I have heard Gertjan say that he wanted a CB in Janurary but they couldn't find one. Maybe when we signed Mauk or just after.

I don't think we are at Verbeek out yet. It's been pretty clear that Piet and Bruce have been in charge of recruiting.

We absolutely miss Isaias, no matter how impressive D'Arrigo has been.
