I didn't see the game, but saw a quick clip of that (and a few other incidents).
FWIW I probably wouldn't have gone with a red card. Both players went in with high feet - it just happened that Ferreira came off second best. I'd feel pretty hard done by if the tables were reversed.
Having said that, it wasn't exactly the worst decision of all time like the commentators were making out.
What I saw of Gameiro's challenge on Marrone (I think it was he?) was far, far worse though. So any complaints from Sydney fans would have to acknowledge that should have been a red.
So in summary, fuck 'em.

I didn't think red either but having just watched video above, Ferreira's studs were down, Petkovic's were up.FWIW I probably wouldn't have gone with a red card. Both players went in with high feet - it just happened that Ferreira came off second best. I'd feel pretty hard done by if the tables were reversed.

Watched the 1st half of the Brisbane-Sydney game last night and the commentary team were still rabbiting on about the FFA Cup game and the injustices wrought upon Sydney FC.

Worst thing for me is that those miserable Fox Sports pricks set the agenda, like it or not their opinion sways lots of peoples' views.
Bozza ranting that the FFA need to rescind the red IMMEDIATELY just tells me that even though he played at the highest level he has NFI.

All I need is some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine.

Think Bozza must be back on the powder. The bias from Slater was just as bad though.
