Re: Australia's World Cup 2022 Bid
i dont understand how its possible we could finish last on the profitability scale when we have the asian market... when asian viewship doubled that of europe and south america combined in 2010, how can the fact that we slot in with the asian market so well put us anywhere but the top of the list f...

Re: Australia's World Cup 2022 Bid
When i read we were giving them the old " no worries, mate" spiel I realized hope was well and truly over... Where did you see the video presentations? Any links to them? We finished last on the profitability scale by the way so if we know Fifa at all that would be one BIG reason not to choose OZ th...

Re: where? we having our bid for 2022 together party
AUSTRALIA'S final presentation to FIFA voters will be based on humour and the guarantee of a "no worries" World Cup, bid chiefs say. The last-minute pitch for votes by bidding nations will come down to 30-minute presentations early tomorrow morning, Australian time, when speeches and short films wi...

Re: El Clasico - 29/11/2010
Jeffren's late goal made little difference, but it made all the difference. Madrid were already being humiliated. José Mourinho, already suffering his worst ever defeat as a coach, felt "impotent", barely moving as fans chanted for him to "come out the dugout! José, come out the dugout!" It was alr...

Re: Foxtel powers national Champions League competition!
Whether is works or not is a moot point.
The question i would ask is why is something like this not in the pipeline or on the discussions table between FFA and Foxtel ( SBS ) ?
Maybe we have put all our eggs in one basket and that basket is called WC2022.

5-0 to Barcelona.
And as I write Ramos gets a straight red for an ugly hack foul on Messi and a shove in the face of Puyol for good measure!
The lad lost it.
peep,peep, peep!
all over

Foxtel powers national Champions League competition!
It's just a damn shame it's the other code... The 16-team competition - proposed by Pay TV broadcaster Foxtel - would next season feature the top three teams from the SANFL, VFL and WAFL as well as new AFL club Greater Western Sydney, Peel Thunder from the Northern Territory and teams from Tasmania,...

Re: "Key Reds playmaker Flores in demand" - Will he leave?
"Of course you have dreams (of playing at a higher level)," Flores said. "Of course (I'll consider it). "I'm really proud that big teams are following me." "I am focussing on this league and I'm trying to get better. "But when this season is finished and everyone is relaxed, I hope to be happy beca...
