Re: Who's signed for next season
I'm not as soon and gloom as some people like to be these days. I have my issues such as the length of time it seems to get Kovacevic to do things. Maybe they're waiting for the transfer window to close to get a player that fits within the salary cap. As for Younger players I think it's going to be ...

Re: Who's signed for next season
I don't think a grand final is out of our reach as it is. We still have a few weeks to add another visa player. It's going to suck losing the young guys to the under 23s but as players come back from injury it will get better. We've gotten to this stage without arguably our best player in absalonsen.

Not at the moment. I'd like the club to send the FFA and the referees a please explain though.

Re: Wellington Phoenix v Adelaide United Match day Jamboree!!!©
My one major issue was the amount of long balls we played, especially after the way we have played over the past 4 seasons.
I quite liked Blackwood. I have been very impressed by him so far.

Re: Who's signed for next season
It's not unusual for the club to sit on a signing for a while till they decide they have the right time to release it. Whether they choose wisely is another matter.

Re: Mayer resigns?
He had his pluses but also had his issues. I can't say working cleaning up Griffin's mess would always be the easiest job.
Hopefully the next ceo can moved forward and look at the positives that Mayer achieved.

Re: 2017 FFA cup Quarter final - Heidelberg vs AUFC
I hope we don't win the FFA Cup. Every team that's won it so far falls in a hole following the win and doesn't get anything at the end of the season.

Re: Who's signed for next season
One thing I'm not sure as been noted is the information in the statement regarding the final visa signing “Now we have one foreign position left in the team and we will take our time in finding the right player for this place in the squad. “The European transfer window closes at the end of August an...

Re: Who's signed for next season
Cos Garruccio is good
(imo)
Agree, garruccio seems to be a polarising figure but I think he's quality.
As for avaridis, I'd prefer of the club looked at investing into some guys younger than 30. Most of our best players over the last few years have come over during their mid to late 20s.

Re: Who's signed for next season
Personally I'd like to see warland partnering with Gul at the back with Regan as back up. I'm a massive fan of Warland from what he's played so far. I also don't really rate Mullen that highly.

Re: Purchasing a membership
I like to look at it by saying that the club is bigger than the owners or the board. I may not agree with a lot of what the owners or management do but I still want to support the club overall.

Re: Who's signed for next season
Life would be a lot better if Griffin was just willing to keep his mouth shut. Grant is a bit more diplomatic, even if he has said a few dumb things in the past.

Re: Who's signed for next season
Izzo Marrone-Regan-Mullen-Garuccio Isaias O-Doherty-Kitto Ochieng-Baba-Mileusnic This is pretty much our team right now (expecting that Mullen will sign and McGree is leaving), isn't great is it. Only positive is that all bar three are South Aussie lads. Firstly I'd put warland ahead of Mullen. And...

Re: Who's signed for next season
Dario's wife is from adelaide right? If they are having a child she may wish to be back around family in Adelaide. Dario would fit into the side quite well IMO. Did anyone head to the first training session today? Any new faces? The club just put a video on facebook that you can dissect. Lots of you...
